Apple Crisp苹果酥—肉桂暖苹果与香草冰淇淋的碰撞

在好友Stephanie家的周五例行dinner上吃过一次她做的apple crisp(可以翻译成苹果酥吧),觉得特别好吃,热热的刚刚烤好的苹果酥,配上冰冰的香草冰淇淋,那味道真是太棒了!Stephanie看出我特别爱吃,就把这个recipe传授给我,是Grandma Crews的独门秘方哦。说起Grandma’s Recipe, 我还真是很羡慕,Steph的奶奶知道她从小就很爱cooking,就写了一个盒子的Recipe,每个Recipe都写在不同颜色的纸片上,简洁又概括,Steph做过的菜肴中,有很多都是亲爱的奶奶亲手写的呢。我这次在这个方子的基础上,做了微微的改变。

RECIPE:

Ingredients:

Apple Layer: 4 tart green apples, peeled, sliced just not too thick

1/2 cup sugar

1 tablespoon flour

1.5 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Topping: 3/4 cup flour

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/3 cup butter, melted

1/2 cup old-fashioned oats

1/4 tablespoon baking powder

1 egg

some walnut and almond slices

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Place apple slices in a greased 8×8 baking dish. Sprinkle other ingredients of the apple layer on all the apples’ surface

2. Combine the topping ingredients and crumble evenly over the apple mixture.

3. Bake 45 minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Refrigerate leftovers.

好啦,这道点心很简单,也可以用其他水果替代,Grandma说,桃子会最好吃。真是迫不及待再尝试一次啦。室友今晚也品尝了这道甜点,说太甜了,哎,不怕甜死人的美国人啊,所以,如果有童鞋不能吃甜的话,就将白糖和红糖都减半吧!另外这次还有一个经验教训就是,要该出手时就出手,什么意思呢。在做topping的时候,因为加了鸡蛋,其实很多面粉都结块了,撒上去后很不均匀,应该用手抓匀弄松散的!

在做这道甜点前,看了好几个帖子,都粘在下面吧,以后如果想变变做法,手到擒来 🙂
